Anniston - Funeral service for Mr. Donald William Levens, 67, will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Pate, and Chaplain Dave Bolin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Levens passed on Monday, August 7, 2017.

Mr. Levens is survived by his wife, Linda Garing Levens; sisters, Evelyn Smith, Kathy Couey, Peggy Mayne, Sue (James) Sellers, Brenda (Eddie) Holder, Debbie (Steve) Dotson, and Sherry (John) Lynch; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brett Levens, Josh Lynch, Jake Lynch, Chris Smith, Gabe Noell, Derick Dotson, Matt Sellers, Wayne "Sonny" Mayne Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Gaston, Mike Garing, Mike Wills, Brandon Gaston, Michael Talley, Ricky Allen, and Dustin Gaston.
Mr. Levens is preceded in death by his father, Lemoral W Levens; mother, Lola W. Levens.
Mr. Levens served in the U.S. Army, was a Vietnam veteran, and was of the Baptist faith and a graduate of Alexandria High School class of 1969. He was a former truck driver for Super Valu, a die-hard Alabama fan, and loved to make people smile and be happy and spend time with his nieces and nephews.
