Robert Lee Spence II, "Bob", "Daddy", "Gramps", and sometimes "Grumpus" was born on June
9, 1937 in Stubenville, OH, married to Sandra Maori Hicks on November 28, 1959 in Bay Village
OH, and passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 25, 2016. He is preceded
in death by his father Robert Lee Spence, Jr., mother Florence Irene McKinney, brother Robert
Lee Spence, I., sister Patricia Lee Payment. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Maori
Hicks, daughters Cynthia Maori (Paul) Foisy, Veronica Leigh (Donnie) Wood, Grandchildren
Everett Spencer, Mia Reille, Vivian Rae, Evana...

Hicks, daughters Cynthia Maori (Paul) Foisy, Veronica Leigh (Donnie) Wood, Grandchildren
Everett Spencer, Mia Reille, Vivian Rae, Evana Lynn Foisy, Josephine Louise, and Ezra Bennett
Wood. Brother Charles Rae (Bonnie) Spence and sister Bonnie Jean (Joseph) Minardo and
many nieces and nephews.

Bob served in the USMC from 1955-1959, but once a Marine, always a Marine; He was always
anxiously engaged in serving his fellow man. He was a Lifetime Member of The Marine Corp.
League and VFW. He spent many hours working with the Young Marines and his favorite project
Toys 4 Tots.

A memorial service will be held in Bob's honor on October 15, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral
Home 542 W 52nd St. Anniston, AL 36206. There will be a visitation beginning at 3 p.m. with the
memorial at 4 p.m.
